This Giant Robot Arm Is Your New Tattoo Artist


Would you believe a goliath robot arm to give you some new ink? Somebody did.

Fitting Audiences banded together with the Applied Research Lab at Autodesk to construct a mechanical arm, named Tatoué, that can take bearing from a 3D printer and outline a tattoo on a human's skin.

As Refinery29 reports, the makers accept there will soon be an upgraded relationship amongst people and robots. David Thomasson, the chief research build at the lab, says that over the long haul, there will be a "more private relationship" creating amongst people and robots.

Keeping in mind the end goal to get the robot arm to really ink a man, however, the designers and analysts worked with security experts and tried it out on shams to perceive how it could perform. Once set they up, strapped a man who needed a tattoo to a seat and let the huge arm do its work. It immediately made the tattoo with no human craftsman cooperation, however it was basic the subject didn't move as Tattoo Robot doesn't take too sympathetically to wriggling.

Obviously, part of the interest of getting a tattoo is that a craftsman is taking every necessary step. As yet, seeing an automated arm do it is terribly cool.
